Medical Case Management
Medical case managers at Hostetler-Fontaine & Associates are active members of the medical treatment team. Our objective is to provide comprehensive medical management services goal oriented toward returning the injured worker to work as soon as reasonably possible. This has proven time and again to be best for the injured worker and the most cost-efficient process.
The registered nurse or certified case manager will act as a liaison between injured worker, insurer, employer, family, physician, therapist, and if necessary, rehabilitation counselor, in order to provide information, and assist in the return of the injured worker either to his original employment or to mainstream employment. The medical case manager also provides medical bill audits, prepares lifelong care cost projections, and provides other consulting services as needed.
